It all started with a hospital bed, a laptop, and a realization that changed everything.
This is a space dedicated to building businesses that are sustainable, smart, and built around the life you actually want to live.
From a hospital bed to building something entirely different.
In late 2019, everything shifted. After years in corporate leadership, I found myself working from a hospital bed — when I should have been focused on healing.
Two months later, after showing up and giving everything I had, I found out my role was gone.
That period changed the way I thought about work entirely. It’s what led me to start my own business to help other business owners build something different.
Not just profitable.
Something sustainable.
Something human.

I didn't always know I wanted my own business.
I had a career, the big office, and a lot of unexamined assumptions about what success was supposed to look like.
Twenty years in corporate leadership. Six years building and supporting online businesses. Human Resources and Business Administration graduate. Most of my life rooted in Burlington, Ontario, unless I am driving across the country to avoid getting on a plane.
I believe business should be built with as much care as the life it is funding.
That means creating systems and structure that actually support the way you want to work — not take over it. It means using tools like AI in a way that helps, without losing the human side of what you do. And it means building something that doesn’t rely on you to hold everything together all the time. When that foundation is in place, everything just works better.

loving
The possibilities that open up when smart systems are paired with real strategy. When both are in place, things start to click in a way that actually supports growth instead of creating more work.

learning
AI is not going anywhere, and neither is my commitment to applying it in ways that make a real difference. Not just for the sake of using it, but in ways that reduce complexity and genuinely support how a business runs.
What I'm
not about
Hustle culture and the glorification of busy. Also not about thirty-seven texts when a quick call would sort it. There’s a better way to run a business than constantly reacting.
what I
believe
The best businesses are built with structure, heart, and the right support. You can scale without losing yourself in the process and using AI doesn’t mean your business has to feel less human. When your operations are solid, everything else gets a whole lot easier.
